Rotoworld says Brower, Fanball says Herges, nobody actually knows.

Frankly, all these guys are lousy. Brower can't get out lefties and Herges is just bad. I'm picking up Aardsma just in case. He was a closer in college, has a good K/IP ratio in the minors, and could get the call up.

There are worse players to take a risk on if you've got an extra roster spot. I wouldn't expect too much, but it could pay off nice dividends.

Izzy says he's fine, but the coaches say otherwise. As a player, very rarely does anyone come out and say, yeah it hurts pretty bad and I'll be out for a while. With Izzy's injury history, I would be willing to bet he makes a trip to the 15 DL.

Benitez was placed on the 15 day DL. Surprisingly, they called up Scott Munter from AAA. He looked pretty sharp in ST, but hasn't been overly-impressive so far this year in Fresno. My guess is Foppert would have gotten the nod if not for his blister problem.

Alou has indicated that it will be a CBC with Brower, Herges, and Fassero in the mix

I'd avoid, avoid, avoid any of these guys in fantasy leagues. The pen has stunk this year

as a benetiz and aardsma owner, i project that brower gets the first call w/eyre or christiansen the occasional situational lefty save.. i would do cartwheels in the nude down main st IF they gave aardsma the job

If you are deperate for saves (I am), then snag Brower (I did). Herges...comes with the warning label "CAUTION, CONTENTS FLAMABLE!"

Very wise move if you have the bench space. I'm willing to bet the Giants use Brower for most of the save opps.
