Dude gets a K per inning. Surely worth a spot in a 5X5 league.

I picked him up as a filler in a trade before last season, and for some reason I've held on to him. The potential has always been there, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy. I'm having a hard time keeping him on my bench...next week he may be in.

I just added him, although I don't think that I will start him. Will hope to package him in a trade.
I dropped Otsuka for him. Otsuka looks like crap this year. Hitters have probably figured him out. (luckily he was on my bench tonight)
I guess I am left with Gonzo and Rincon for my MR strategy.

Pick him up and piggy back ride him till he blows it.
I agree. I've picked him up in leagues where I need some SP help and will ride the hot streak for as long as it lasts. He's got the stuff, he just hasn't been able to prove he can keep it together for an extended period of time before now.

i remember there being some question marks about harden this time last year, and after the all-star break he went nuts. he was 3-5 with a 4.52 era going into the break last year.
obviously patterson won't keep his current numbers up, but his high k rate makes him someone to stash on your bench at the least.

Stash on the bench while he's ripping off great start after great start? Play him now and bench later.

Had 3 starters going last night. I figured Buerhle and Clement would do their thing while I was concerned about Patterson. uhhhhhhhhhh
What a bizarre night for good pitchers getting lit up.
