Got 3 players going against Prior tonite...

Edmonds, Renteria, and Rolen, I am thinking of sitting Edmonds and playing another OF, but the only others I have are Griffey, who might not start tonite, and Dave Roberts, who is also sitting this one out. What do I do?

i personally don't think prior will bother any of your cardinal hitters, tho' edmonds has been in a bit of a slump...i'd say fifty/fifty between edmonds and griffey tonight. flip a coin.

welp, if they're your guys, you start 'em anyways. you never know if this will be the game where prior gives up 6 runs in 4 2/3 innings, or if it'll be a 18K CG shutout. while i doubt that it'll be the former, still, it's not unthinkable to see prior give up 3 or 4 runs, therefore its not much of a stretch to think that your boys in red will have something to do with those runs.

unless you've got extremely viable backups, might as well go for it.
