Anyone know if he's getting called up now that he's made three lackluster starts in AAA? We do weekly moves and I was trying to find out if he would be starting this week. I need to replace Chad Fox.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I can tell you from painful experience (and there is a lot of this where Armas injuries are involved), do not pick him up (or at least start him) until he has pitched in a 2-3 ML games. I've been burned by him on these occasions before.

I think that's a good rule in any case (see Padilla) with a pitcher coming back. but with Armas he's been on an off the DL enough to know it takes him awhile to get things on track.

Though I agree with you 100 percent, I guess I made a mistake going the other way... I had to do it by noon. I had no options with Chade Fox going down and only Armas and Javier Lopez on my bench in a deep NL-only league... I could have just left Fox in there. Maybe no stats at all would have been better than Armas getting bombed. But I have always done well bu taking chances and being aggressive, so we'll see.
