1. Kendall (far and away the best on this list. He is a top 3 or 4 catcher, still has some speed and hits for a decent average with some pop.)
2. Santiago (nice pop, but poor plate patience and you have to think his average will go down to around .250 or so this year given his age)
3. Lopez (Once was great, in decline big time, average starter at best)
4. Myers (unproven, more upside but doesn't play as much)
In short, don't even think about dropping Kendall; the other options are way worse.
Kendall
Santiago (he's like 92 years old, but his numbers are decent)
Lopez
Myers
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Kendall (definitely best)
Santiago (old, but on a winning team, which gives him points)
Lopez and Myers are the bottom 2, Myers probably the worse of the 2.
yeah, thats what i have done thus far. it's been tempting to jettison kendall for a catcher with 5+ HR, javy lopez' 7 HR looked mighty fine.. but in the end, i think his potential to hit 15 HR, drive in 60-80, and steal 15-25 bases will win out. i only have luis castillo as my designated speed threat, so i mgiht as well hold on to him and see what i can get.
speed threats in that league: luis castillo (11 SB), vladimir guerrero (4 SB), raul mondesi (8 SB), jason kendall (4 SB), brad wilkerson (3 SB)
