Without a doubt, Jason Lane. I picked him up kinda on a hunch, started him last weekend and he saved my bacon. Permenant utility spot till Maggs recovers, by then he should be good trade bait!

Also, took Zack Grienke and Brandon Webb late on in the draft. They've been the cornerstones of my rotation, much to my suprise!

Just picked up Mike Lowell of waivers too. Have very high hopes.....

Floyd and Jacque Jones have made my OF work. We'll see how it looks down the road.
I know Buerlhe isn't WW material, but he's been great for my team! Yhency also has been great.

How good is matos really? is he worth on my team over Rowand or Brady Clark in a 5x5 h2h 12 man?

By the way...my pickups are...
Inge (hitting the best on my team...sadly)
Lyon (just dealt him)
El Duque (used him as trade bait too)
Moyer (used him to get Penny just yesterday)

That seems to be a popular question, given that what Matos has been able to do over the first month. He's batting 7th currently. If he was ever to move up to 6th, he COULD be a good get. A possible 18hr/20 sb guy. If he maintains his average (that is to say not to see it drop to below .310) over the next 10-14 days, it could be time to say that he may be for real. He's been ravaged by injuries in the past.

Odalis Perez was dropped, somehow. I used a waiver to pick him up. He is by far the best player that has been dropped (it was before the season) but I got him.

FA pickups:

-Jamie Moyer (just traded in a deal to get Sheets)
-Dmitri Young
-Xavier Nady (just for the first day, without his 2 HR i wouldnt have won.)
-Jorge Cantu
-Julio Lugo
-Miguel Batista

I play in a 16-team 6X6 league and grabbbed these players off WW

Victor Diaz (has been awesome so far)
Gustavo Chacin (ditto)
Aaron Boone (Just grabbed him recently, and has hit a homer since)
Aaron Heilman (so-so)
Steve Trachsel (got a empty DL slot)
B.J. Upton (I'm hopeful he's gonna get called up soon, and I have bench space)
