Does he become anymore valuable if you also own Affeldt? Also, who is a more viable pickup with a high waiver priority - Turnbow or Burgos?

Huge upside, but the Royals are so bad there aren't many games to be saved (this from a Royal fan). He'll lose the job back to Affeldt once he returns as well. I don't think Burgos is ready yet....they're pushing him too fast IMO.

Both Baltimore and Boston currently have less SVOs then KC. A team doesn't have to be good to get SVOs. So if this guy pitches well (I have no idea if he will) he'll get his chances even on the Royals.

Yeah good upside. He is coming from AA Wichita where he dominated and Pena has said that he is just filling in until Affeldt comes back.

i remember distinctly reading that pena had indicated that this guy might well be a long-term solution. and, of course, now i can't find it...scratch that, found it:

rotowire: if we think Burgos can be the closer on this ballclub for a long time, we need to give him the ball right way and see what he can do."

that implies more than temporary fill-in to me, anyway.

An important distinction as far as I'm concerned. So, I ask my question again, do you think that:

Burgo's becomes anymore valuable if you also own Affeldt? Also, who is a more viable pickup with a high waiver priority - Turnbow or Burgos? Or wait for a Marte type player later on in the year (deep league, 10 keepers)
