impossible to tell how you will finish without seeing the other teams in the league, bro... but...
you are clearly punting SB's too, not just saves, b/c none of those guys are going anywhere on the basepaths, and just Dave Robers isnt gonna be enough... but otherwise a good balanced hitting team...
You should be good on SP's , got K's and IP and W's in a good spot there...
You should do well, and end up in the thick of the fight anyway.
Good luck.
And... you have an awful lot of Yankees on your team for a Red Sox fan...
As a fellow 'Sox fan and a veteran fantasy leaguer (9th season this year) I can honestly tell you that I've NEVER had a Yankee on my squad and I have finished in the money many times, including my name on the trophy twice in a 14 team league... don't sell out. Trade those bastards. There's got to be a Yankee fan in your league somewhere who would give you his left one for Matsui, Jeter, or the Unit...

This squad has good overall balance ... I like the infield and rotation, especially. By punting saves (and, as mentioned above, lacking real basestealing) you're probably looking at a mid-pack finish, with top-4 upside. To a newby, my best advice is stay active, work the wire and maybe try to pluck a couple of buy-low guys in trade to shore up the bench.
Good luck.
You're punting 2 categories and in a 12 team league this is a problem. You're looking at trying to make up an 11 point hole in 2 categories (Spotting 22 points to the field). This team is simply not good enough to make up that gap right now with the holes you have in the lineup (Jones, Rowand) and your 5th, 6th, and 7th starters aren't helping...When you punt 2 categories you should be more solid than this. Keep working the waiver wire and hopefully you can catch lightning in a bottle. I would say you're looking at 6th or 7th if you have a capable group of opponents who are all active. 4th place would be quite an achievment.
well...
R,3B,SB -- i would imagine you would be odds on to lose each week
2B,HR I think you should win
H,AVG -- who the heck knows. call it a tie, though with jones and dunn in there i wouldn't bee too surprised if you lost avg.
this gives you a '-1' for hitting.
W,HR,K,ERA and WHIP you really ought to win
L are a crapshoot
SV you will lose
this gives you a '+4' in pitching
so each week you should be looking at, on average, a 3 category win. Now, this assumes that all your players perform as expected, but the variance in how people can be huge from week to week. so I imagine that you will probably finish the league with a winning record, but as far as playoffs are concerned, they're a crapshoot.

Yes I really want to get rid of the yanks. I got Matsui 6th rounf in the draft which was a steal! Who should i try to get for Johnson? Would Santana be a better option? Or should i package Randy and Jones/Rowand for Santana and a lesser hitter? I am currently 8th, but last week was a disaster cause Lawrence SUCKED. Should i drop Lawrence and pick up a spot closer? Who should i trade away, and who should i got after.
