No. He was solid for a couple of months last year before finishing terribly...he had a poor spring and a poor second half last year...I don't put much stock in him...

Let me keep it unanimous and say no. When this guy goes bad, he is unbelievably bad. He's had a good start, but a really bad stretch soon wouldn't surprise me.
I wouldn't say he's horrible. Last year, he was 8-3 with a 4.09 era before the break. Not exactly Cy Young, but good numbers if you're in a deep league. Good 5-6th starter on your team for the next month or two.

Going to huge someday.
I'll take the other side to some extent. Is he as strong as he's been so far? Probably not. But I doubt you'll see a similar meltdown as he did not pitch winter ball this time in hopes of maintaining strength through the season.
Face it, guys...Mike Maddux may very well be taking over as the premier pitching coach in the game. I think you have to bump everyone on the staff up at least a little from pre-season projections (with the exception of Sheets due to his injury).
Bottom line is riding these guys while they're hot is sure not the worst idea in the world.

He continues to amaze me as he turns around discarded player after discarded player. He turned Dan Kolb around so the team was able to spin him for an elite pitching prospect just one year later (Capellan), turned Doug Davis into a quality #2 last year, and has done great things with a slew of other guys (Capuano, Santos, Turnbow, Wise, Adams, Obermueller). This staff/bullpen had no business being among the league's best coming into the season, but that's where they are now. If only the bats could keep up.
seriously? Exactly what possession of Mr.Santo are you questioning the legitimacy of?

If a man dwells on the past, then he robs the present.
But if a man ignores the past, he may rob the future.
The seeds of our destiny are nurtured by the roots of our past.
