My HR:RBI ratio is very low. I'm leading my league in HR, but guys with half my HR total have roughly the same RBI as my team.
Here's what they are in my league:
HR:RBI / ratio
29:112 / 1:3.8
34:98 / 1:2.9
23:94 / 1:4.1
19:97 / 1:5.1
22:98 / 1:4.5
19:82 / 1:4.3
19:77 / 1:4.1
23:108 / 1:4.7
28:110 / 1:3.9
16:92 / 1:5.8
20:95 / 1:4.8
21:77 / 1:3.7
A low HR total can give a misleadingly high HR:RBI ratio, but mine still jumps out in the league (I'm at 1:2.9). It's not like I have Dunn on my team (he's gotta have around a 1:1.2 HR:RBI ratio
). Hopefully my guys will keep hitting the long ball, and more people will get on base for 'em.
This isn't anything I'm worried about, as I figure that by the end of the season these ratios will probably end up clustering far tighter. If anything, I see it as a good sign that my team should be able to put up more production than I'm currently seeing, whereas other teams are probably at an unsustainable level.
