Jason Schmidt has 10 k's through 5.0 I say he ends the night with 16.

I think Schmidt is one of the most underrated pitchers in baseball. He always strikes out at least 6 or 7 and with Bonds and co. hitting for him I think he will pull in plenty a win this year.

..and the win has left the building. Slap those extra runs onto Schmidt's total also. An inning ago I was thinking about what ESPN would title their front page hommage to the man. Now I'm wondering how this will effect my ERA. Dammit.

Nope, Rodriguez gave up a double, making it 5-5. Schmidt winds up getting stuck with 5 earned runs in 6.2 innings, which even though he had 13 K's isn't that great for leagues that count ERA.

Yep. Mine does, of course. But it also counts K's and K/BB, so im not too bummed.
