Eric Chavez: What a Slump!!

I have actually been REALLY REALLY surprised by how patient people on the site have been with Chavez this season. I mean it seems like everyday I see people panicing and ranting about Randy johnson, Schilling, Vernon Wells, Nomar (before he got hurt), Furcal, Carlos Lee etc.

But people have been like a comferting chavez owning family nicely and calmly reasurring each other that he is going to come around. what gives? how come people aren't this patient with the other big superstars. i dont get it lol.

Anyways Chavy looks down right disgusting right now, basically he looks like Miguel Tejada in April 2003 when miggy hit 167 or somethin and it was awful. Chavez is pretty bad right now, I would bench him if I had a solid option no doubt. I have him in many leagues, but I have no other option at third Base. He should heat up in May no doubt, and come the second half of the season he will explode, so just stick with him ;-D

3B was the one position I had no worries about -- Chavez and Dallas McPherson. How could a guy go wrong? :~(

Chavez did this to me 2 years ago -- horrible for a 1 month, average for 1 then torrid for 2.

He looks absolutely lost at the plate right now. I think he is established enough to believe that he wil rebound and have a nice season. But the longer it drags on, the less chance he has of putting up the type of season everyone has hoped for, for the last few years.

just remember the month of May is right around the corner, so hopefully some of these studs can get out of the April swoon.... but i am still confident in chavez having a good year...
