RynMan wrote:Just as a side note the Indians offense has a worse team batting average than the A's.....why isn't everyone jumping all over them? They were supposed to have one of the best offenses in the AL....
Because there are more A's fans around here to tease than there are Indians fans.
Just giving you a hard time RynMan....to be honest, yes, their offense will get better. They won't be great, and I still think they'll be last place in the West...but they'll improve and at least be respectable.
Dammit....I should have interpreted all the tongue in cheek icons as people looking to stir me, GSes and ramble up. You suck Mo! And no way they finish last. Hey, I hope u sacked up and started Penny @ Coors. I did!
I bumped the Penny post last night sometime....I didn't start him. I couldn't figure out who to drop. I really wanted to give some guys a couple more games to either breakout or be cut before making the decision.

What about the inexperienced pitching?
Lol.
Even if they had speed, they wouldn't steal. Gotta love Moneyball.
Thanks for reading between the lines, Mad. I knew someone would pick up what I was thinking.
Yep, I knew exactly what you were getting at.

Actually, I didn't realize that. Seems opposing pitchers are figuring out that it's safe to throw strikes against them. Oh, and some of us have already started spot starting against the A's.

Yeah Houston are the proud recipients of a 10-inning CG shutout from Mulder. I can't remember the last time I've seen a 10 iinning CG, let alone where the pitcher only threw 105 pitches. He could've gone 11 against the 'stros

If memory serves, Roy Halladay did it in '03. Not positive though.
