And I thought the Padres offense was struggling. We're slugging compared to the A's.

Oh man, this thread is slammin the A's!

Slomo, man i agree with you on most things in here. This one we are on seperate ends of the spectrum. Inexperienced pitching? Hell, this inexperienced pitching is a better staff than both Texas and Seattle.

The A's offense is ICE COLD. But it really confuses me how people who I feel are genuinely intelligent people make statements like this after 20 games. By my calculations thats around one eighth of the season. The A's offense is better than last year. It has started off cold, mainly to Kendall adjusting to the new league, and the centrepiece hitter slumping so terribly.

It's all good fellas. :-D

Just as a side note the Indians offense has a worse team batting average than the A's.....why isn't everyone jumping all over them? They were supposed to have one of the best offenses in the AL.... ;-7

Because there are more A's fans around here to tease than there are Indians fans. ;-)

Just giving you a hard time RynMan....to be honest, yes, their offense will get better. They won't be great, and I still think they'll be last place in the West...but they'll improve and at least be respectable.
