worse than the A's. I thought KC was bad, but the A's are making KC look like the '27 Yankees.

But until then...Ew.

As a once-proud Chavez owner, I concur.

Well Byrnes has been exposed...they have no offense coming out of 2b or SS now. Hatteberg...yeah OK right. Kendall is proving to be a non-producer.

19 scoreless innings in a row and still counting.
Where are all those people that said the A's offense was going to be good and questioned me placing them in the KC grouping?

The A's lack an offense?
Shocker.

I'm with Mad...where's the Big Bad A's machine we have been hearing about all offseason? I'll stand by what I've said so far and say they'll be last place in the AL West. And it might not even be close.

Right here, son. How about we wait until the end of the season until making a snap judgment on their offense?

Unless the season ends today, their two best hitters will not continue to hit below .200.

I had them pegged as blowing with mediocre pitching and only 1 legit hitter (Chavez). Surprisingly, they have been getting great pitching from Haren and Blanton. Could not ask for better from them really. But that offense is far worse than I thought it would be. None of them are hitting a lick and it is snowballing and you can see Chavez pressing each AB.
