I feel sorry for the people who looked only at the spring stats. He was picked up in the 5th round in one of my leagues.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

Are you an old girlfriend or whats the deal with him being a failure of a man?
Good question. I'm guessing he must not have satisified wavetide in the sack.

he can't be this bad.. i mean he's been in the league for like 7 or 8 years now with a lot of success. it's not like pitchers just figured out this month that he can't hit breaking stuff. he'll come around but it might take a while. it's so easy to kick a guy when he's down and have all these different explanations for why he sucks now.

Guys at MLB.com made an interesting comment about Jones.
He has become an old, fat guy before his time.
At 28 (this year) with a relatively uninjured body he should be at the abolsute peak of his althleticism.
Instead his SBs have dropped 50% and GIDPs have doubled in just a couple years. He can still pound the ball at times and is a terrific OFer, but his secondary game is heading South.
He is listed at 5'10/210. Wonder how much he weighs when he puts both feet on the scale.

He has a 4 game hitting streak going atm, all single hit games so his average hasn't been great. Jones has had a month where he hit 210 or under like every year, I really wouldn't read too much into the slow start.

OMG. You'd better change that to fantasy baseball player. As a baseball player, he's a stud, can catch anything with a country mile. Offensively, for God sakes, it's only April.
