Why does Radke get hit so hard?

Radke is way overrated. All you have to do is look at his 2003 and 2002 numbers to see that his 3.48 ERA of 2004 was a bit of a fluke compared to the previous years of 4.49 and 4.72. So don't expect ace-like numbers from him.

Well his hit percentage is 32% which is within the +- 2% range but if you want to get technical it should be 2% lower. His major problem are the 7 home runs in 33.2 IP. If he cut down on those his ERA would be mid to low threes.
