A little more power and less speed? You could compare Pujols to Giambi with that argument. Present some stats, projections, or a stronger argument and I would love to hear it

I like a Jason Bay/Lane comparision better. Regardless, he is good!!

I would say that this year his line will probably be around .280 20 80 80 20 and could be a .300 30 100 100 30 guy in the future if he doesnt stop stealing bases like some power hitters do.

i have nothing but my own predictions... but i see both contending for a 25/25 season... i think Lane might exceed 25 HRs and i think Patterson might exceed 25 SBs...

Lane/Bay comparison better. Patterson's SB depends on where he hits in the order now. Could be the 3-hole rather than leadoff w/ Nomar injury. Lane's SB will drop probably.
Projections
Patterson - 275, 95 28 90 27
Lane - 280 90 28 100+ 19
