I know Giles is very good and I was asking if there was something I didnt hear because this guy is enfuego about taking this trade. Just wondering why!

There is no collusion here, I don't even know the guy. I am in first and he is in 4th. I lead the league in saves and he has 1. This is a $$$ money league. I tried to change the offer after the game but he said he liked it and doesnt think it will be vetoed.

If it's a $$ league, and you're on top, I'd bet $$$$$ this gets vetoed. I'm just guessing, as I obviously don't know your league's tendencies, but I'd say this one has veto written all over it. Now if you were in fourth and he was in first, it would probably be approved post haste.

It's a borderline trade if Adams were still the closer- horribly dumb, but probably not vetoable. But yeah, if this guy accepted the trade after the game, it ought to get vetoed in the best interests of the league.

I traded for B Giles sending Konerko.. that's considered a normal trade.. for Mike Adams? C'mon..

I love Giles but I would never trade Konerko straight up for him.

Why don't you just offer value for value instead of trying to chump a guy? Then you wouldn't have to worry about vetos or the supicious clouds of collusion that you are now under.

Giles has been behind on fastballs all year long. The mechanics of his swing are screwed up; his bat speed is the same. Hopefully, he'll correct this and it'll come around.
