I got Preston Wilson in a lot of my leagues, seeing that he was ranked rather low come draft time. I'm pretty sure I can spin his amazing numbers into Carlos Beltran or another top tier OF. However, does anyone think Colorado has turned this .250 near dud into a prolific stud? His numbers are absolutely amazing right now. I know the concept of selling high, but he is in a stadium that has a way of keeping numbers high. Any thoughts?

Guess you could say we've always been red white and blue

I would hold onto Wilson. Ive seen him rated in magazines in the pre-season as the 10th best OF ahead of edmonds, burrell, and Salmon. The reason being was that this guy has a natural upper cut swing which will be welcomed in the thin air of Coors Field. Also, he has a chip on his shoulder for getting back to his 30HR, 100RBI year. This guy can steal and he can hit when he is focused on his game. I traded for him before the season for Burrell and Im more than happy with the results . I believe this guy will continue to be a stud all year round especially now he hits in the 4 hole with helton in front and walker behind him.
You gotta learn from the best to be the best......
i am not sold on preston, he is a great power hitter and colo will no doubt help him there, but i think you gotta get rid of him while he is on this pace. earlier in the year i got mags for kearns, and although kearns is playing better than mags i am sure i will end up with the better half of this deal. i think you should do the same and try for a mags or a beltran. preston was ranked #1 on yahoo earlier this week so is stock wont ever be this high again. like i said he is a good player, but i say trade him and get a top tier OF.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I've got to say keep him, unless you're getting TOP value in return.
Forget Beltran, Wilson will put up much better numbers. Preston can run, hit, plays half his games in Coors, and the Rockies have a great offensive lineup around him.

i agree here... i traded wilson for mags and i also traded cruz jr for beltran this season so far, i'm liking the way my team is shaping up
