Will Lecroy get catcher status in Yahoo????

His numbers are great and Gardenhire has played him at catcher 4 times; when will he get catcher status???

Yahoo will make him a catcher after he plays the position for 15 games. Keep an eye on it and grab him. Or grab him now and wait it out.

It does look like he will sneak into that catcher status, but it may take him up to a couple of months to get there. But as was mentioned before keep an eye on it because LeCroy can definitely hit.

thanks for the tips. yeah, he's going to be a steal when the time comes but that's a couple of months away.

i don't have a spot for him until then, so i'll have to move quickly.

oh, what I wouldn't give for Josh Phelps to have catcher's eligibility again.

What I wouldn't give to have frickin 1B eligibility for Josh Phelps let alone catcher. Phelps has only played 2 measely games at 1B thus far. He's this year's David Ortiz for me. I had Ortiz riding the pine all season waiting for him to gain 1B eligibility, which he did....with like 2 weeks left in the season. It was a lot to ask for I know but when you're platooning Steve Cox and Travis Lee, Ortiz looks like Bagwell.


Yeah the LeCroy eligibility at catcher will happen eventually. Gardenhire will play guys wherever he can just to get them in the game. Heck he had Cuddyer playing 2B one game. Too bad he didn't hit very well.

I'd be surprised if he got the 15 games in but who knows. If he does, it will probally be more of a boost fantasy wise for him next year.
