my freind dropped kevin mench because he was slumping for the first two weeks..boy does he look stupid now. I picked up menc two days ago when he got that triple and two walks i knew then that he was about to break out of that slump =) he went 3/4 the next day /w a hR and 3/4 today w/ a HR =D i am lovin it.

My projections for both...

Mench .290 30 90 80 5
Ford .290 15 75 85 15

looks like Mench is the better option.

Ford gets my vote.

He's a legit .290 plus hitter, okay pop and good speed. 15-20 HR/SB

Mench is more a .260-.270 hitter at best. Plenty of power, zero speed.
His 25 HR potential is nice, but I'll take the across the board producer every single time.

Mench has 40 hr power.

And more likely to hit .280-.285.

Mench, easily.

He hit a HR today also, yay!
