It appears he's back! 10 K's in his last 18 AB's covering a span of 6 games where he's k'ed at least one time in every one of those games. With Shelton showing that he's no sure thing himself at 1B given his recent serious struggles, the search for a reliable 1B continues.

I still don't know what this team is going to do with Pena. Anytime I try to guess what this team will do, they surprise, and not usually in a good way.

I don't see any way they can justify having Pena on their team next season, I think they'll just let him walk.

I hope they do. But as I said before, the moves this team makes sometimes baffle me. I'd prefer Pena gone and move on, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's back. I think Pena will have some decent seasons in the future. They just won't come for this franchise.
