i hear it's because of the lack of winter ball and a short ST. that being said, i'd bench him til he shows signs of improvement. he goes against the Astros next...no way he's on the mound for me that day.

His mechanics just need some tweaking. Ex pitcher myself so i kinda spot the problems. He's just trying to throw the ball through the catcher, and not TO the catcher.

He's young, and trying to throw the ball through the backstop with pure testosterone. It's not working, and it's effecting his delivery, and his ability to step towards the target with a straight toe everytime, so he's very inconsitant and wild right now.

So if the moron's have any kind of pitching coach available... this should have been worked out in the 2nd outing, and should not have progressed through the 3rd start. But maybe the kid doesn't listen.
