The Twins activated Morneau from the disabled list, and he'll be back in his cleanup spot Friday against the Tigers. Morneau (concussion) has been sidelined since April 6.
Fantasy Source spin: We know you're eager to get Morneau back in your lineup, but give him at least a game to shake off the rust. The fact he's facing a lefthander in a poor hitters park (Comerica) should make your decision easier.
Somebody dropped Morneau in my Yahoo public right after the draft (a week ago). Talk about short-sighted.
I crossed my fingers and waited for him to clear waivers, and snatched him up today.
Why did I wait for him to clear waivers? I have the number 2 waiver priority, and somebody else DROPPED Aubrey Huff. Anyhoo, I have Morneau on four of five teams. As he goes, so goes my season. Good to hear he's back.
