What's the story on Leiber?

i'm not totally sure, and i don't know if i wanna find out. is he a guy i should be selling high right now? i mean he's 4-0.

I say you'll get 18-20 wins out of him, a 4.1ish ERA, and a solid whip of 1.15-1.2ish (he never walks guys, but never strikes them out either). If you can get better than that in a deal, do it.

All the signs were there for a good season this year: Great K/BB, second year back from TJ surgery, moving from AL to NL. He was actually pretty good last year, just had a high hit rate. I had him pegged as a sleeper and really there isn't that much risk with him. I projected him for a 3.74 ERA and 1.16 WHIP before the season started so I wouldn't be at all surprised if this success continues. Lots of people were avoiding him, and I really don't know why.

i was really on high on Lieber coming into this year, (one of the ones i got right) for most of reasons mentioned. He was awesome w the cubs before he got hurt, a 20 game winner. Alot of times a player is better than he was a year & a half after TJ surgery, plus move to NL i figured he had a shot to win 20. great whip & era . the K's are never there, but the other stuff is sweet

Too bad he pitches at Coors East. He's a 4th or 5th fantasy starter.

yeah, i was on the fence about Leiber before the season started. Most people in the cafe threads were panning him as giving up too many hits in a hitters park would make for distaster....
I guess that will teach me to make my own decisions!
