What's up with him!?
The guy's no-where near where he was last year. Must be due to the leagues new testing policy. He's go to be magna cum laude in the 'i was juiced last year' club. He's turned up this year half the player he was last year, lacking pace, lacking bat spead and lacking any productivity.
Actually was in Jacob's field the other day and was really dissapointed with him and Pronk. Another guy who's stats rocketed last year. Forget about Giambi. Without the 'juice' both will be optioned to triple a before the all star break.
But look on the bright side, at least V Mart has his new soul glow hairstyle going for him...

I doubt V Mart ever juiced, though I couldn't say that for sure. Have met him a few times, and though he's got some pop in his bat, he's certainly not built up like some of the other guys you'd expect to be using roids (not that he's a small guy, but he just doesn't look like he spends most his time in the weight room).
The guy is incredibly streaky too, and he hates cold weather. Give him some time. I think by June the ball will be flying off his bat again.

He started off slowly last year too, heated up around the first of May.
