Penny is a 2nd tier pitcher. Think of Mulder or Pavano but with more K's. IF he stays healthy.
Does it look like he will, or fall onto the DL again? Is he worth the risk?
Dude he just got off.
NO and NO and YES. But whos knows really he had a nerve problem in his bicep,Apr 25 Dodgers pitcher Brad Penny made his season debut following a nerve injury in his right biceps on Sunday. Penny gave up six hits and four earned runs while striking out four in five innings of work against the Rockies.
Views: It wasn't a pretty first outing, but he's shaking off the rust so cut him some slack. Keep an eye on Penny because before the injury last season he was lights out and if he gets himself back to 100-percent, he could be that type of pitcher again.
