I have stayed up too late looking a numbers and cut someone or made a trade offer only to come back in half an hour and regret it. He probably is just regretting what he did and did not click on something accidently. In a private league then you let the guy get his player back just to keep the peace...in a public league though you pick him up.

I'd change yours to 'Accidentally Claimed Harden'
I agree.
I have never played ESPN leagues but I have no sympathy for people that accidentally drop a player in Yahoo. There are at least 2 confirmations before it finally goes through and if you even glance at the screen, no mistakes should happen.
Another vote for this plan of action

If it was a friendly league with people I knew and trusted, I'd pass on him. Since it doesn't sound like that, then I'd pick him up. If he wants him bad enough then trade him to him, but you better get something better in return since you are giving up your #1 waiver priority. If he is unwilling to trade you what you want, then just keep him.

I don't really have advice one way or the other, but here's the problem with picking him up. If "accidentally dropped Harden" gets frustrated enough, and he doesn't have any consideration for others, he'll just drop the rest of his players out of spite. When things like that start happening the league stops being fun.

If this were the case, the league would be better off without the guy in his league. Waiver wire priorities would split his players somewhat evenly, and rid the league of the cancer. Chances are he won't drop all his players, but you have no control over that and I wouldn't worry about it.
