hehe. last year was different because half the team was injured. that's when RJ had his perfect game against them. they were starting nick green, mark derosa, etc. this year.... well, lets just hope they turn it around.
i think modesi will be fine, and i still think laroche will improve on last year, but maybe langerhans needs to start taking some PT away from jordan.

I'm thinking of spot starting Patterson. I know he's facing Smoltz, but with that offense pressing and sputtering, the K upside is just too irresistible to pass up.
With my luck, going from a sinker baller like Day to a guy who likes to rack up the Ks will be just the break the Braves need to bust out of their slump; but if not... who knows?

As a Smoltz owner, this stinks. I thought it was bad owning Westbrook, but both him and Smoltz?
The Braves really need to start hitting the ball.

Yeah, but last year they had Mark Derosa, Nick Green, Mike Hessman, and Jesse Garcia in the starting lineup(s). This lineup is all we got this year. Seems they woke up a bit today... let's hope LaRoche, Andruw, Ponch, and Furcal can get it going.
