I was just wondering if you guys thought there was any type of player my league favors. I know some leagues are like that with their scoring systems and categories. I don't think my league favors any certain type of player heavily, but I'd like to get some more opinions on this one. What do you guys think??
here are my league cats:
R, H, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, TB, AVG, IP, W, L, CG, SHO, SV, H, ER, BB, K, ERA, WHIP
w/o actually crunching the numbers i would have drafted sort of the opposiste as what you did. I would have employed a "elite MR strategy". You should be able to take: L, SV, H, ER, BB, ERA, WHIP. Thats seven out of ten that you should win each week, not including CG and SHO which are usually ties.
By drafting MRs you should be able to concentrate on getting a studly lineup. With so many cats, the superstuds (ichiro, manny, vlad, pujols...) are invaluable.

Yep. Grab a Halladay or Livan Hernandez or (Insert Marlins Starter Here) and you can also grab the CG or SO category every once in awhile.
Yes, grab Rincon. And get Mike Gonzalez. If wins (plays for PIT) and saves didn't matter, he'd be the first reliver I'd grab. Other guys that may be available I'd rank as follows:
1. Otsuka, SD
2. Street, OAK
3. Donnely, LAA
4. Ayala, WAS
5. Gordon, NYY
6. Crain, MIN
7. Gregg, LAA (as soon as he's moved back to the pen)
8. Shields, LAA
9. Madson, PHI
10. Calero, OAK
11. Betancourt, CLE
12. Linebrink, SD
13. Julio, BAL
14. Brazoban, LAD
15. Reyes, STL
16. Marte, CHW
17. Cruz, OAK
18. Riske, CLE
19. Urbina, DET
20. Tavarez, STL
21. Lehr, MIL
And one guy I would be sure to grab, as soon as he returns from the disabled list is Grant Balfour. He'll K well over a batter an inning. He's going to be huge (in the middle reliever scale of things) once he comes back and gets going.

Trading for one of those player will help alot, I would also recommend
trying to trade for Crawford for the triples.. In deep stat leagues like this w/ regular size lineups I think its important to grab a player like
crawford who will help win 2-3 cats a week by himself w/ his speed
and extra base hits where you don't have to have a ton of them to win each week.
