Peavy has been struggling a bit, and Atlanta is on fire? Bench him? Thoughts? He's opposing Hampton.

Usually I don't vouch for benching pitchers excpet when they're pitching in Colorado. But in this case I'd probably bench him He has been struggling a bit lately and Mike Hampton and the Braves are on a roll. With that dangerous braves offense I'd probably bench him. But don't forget to have him ready for his next start, which will hopefully be against an easier opponent.

I'm going to bench him. And with my luck he will do great. Started Leiter today in Pac Bell (read=pitcher's park) and he gives up 10 er in 4.2 innings. Ouch!
