Who should I keep in the outfield?

Postby JRRNeiklot » Thu May 15, 2003 6:48 am

Here is my outfield.

Jim Edmonds
Austin Kearns
Ken Griffey (Just picked up off waivers)
Gary Sheffield
Vernon Wells
Aubrey Huff

My gut feeling is Kearns, Sheffield, Edmonds, and Wells right now.

Wells is leading my team in RBIs, though his average isn't so great.

See what you can get for Griffey. He should be great as trade bait. is there a position that you might wann improve? It would be helpfull to see your lineup to make a judgement on who you could trade Junior for....

I assume you are keeping 4? Griffey and Huff need to go. I do agree with the other guy: try to trade Griffey.

Well, rather than clutter this forum with my lineup, I have posted in the "rate my team" forum. I'd be honored if you'd take a look at it.

If Griffey came off waivers, one would have to think his trade value would be very low. I would try to trade Wells or Kearns instead.

I like how we tell everyone they need Aubrey Huff on their team, and then when we see their team we tell them to trade him.

For what? Junior Spivey?

What is Griffey's value at now? A borderline waiver player.

I'd trade away Edmonds (or Kearns). Trade players at peak values. Wells is producing while hitting at a lowered average. Expect his average to climb and the rest of his numbers to take off.
