Well pre-season I had them very close to each other. Zam got a slight benefit from his extra K's though. But Hudson is more consistent and reliable, and less prone to fall apart for a game like Zam already has. Also when comparing last season's numbers you have to consider that Hudson is now in the NL which makes a pretty big difference in ERA/WHIP, and of course K's.
So really, on expected performance I'd say they're about equal, with a silght edge to Zam. But I'd take Hudson because of his consistency. Can't really go wrong either way though.
