I would lean against starting him against Stl. Earlier in the week they rocked him pretty hard.

I'm gonna start him only b/c I have no shot at winning my ERA category, but still can get Wins. There is another thread on this already....

Tonight is Clement's last stand with my team, at least if he doesn't finally put together a quality start. I like him, but he's been shakier than Barnaby Jones on a speedboat lately, and enough is enough. Thank heavens the stats from his last start, a shellacking I believe it's called, were thrown out due to rain. Otherwise, I would have lost several points in ERA and WHIP. Let's go, Matt. Hum babe. Now or never.

The last start by clement can not be taken for anything. I live in the chicago area and the night before was all tornado watches and the day of the game the wind was blowing out 30 mph with gusts up to 60. No one can pictch good in circumstances like that.

I hope you sat him. It wasn't pretty. 6 innings, 7 hits, 1 walk, 6 earned runs, 6 k's.

'ol honest abe lincoln has been rockier than stallone these days. StL crushed him back at wrigley in that cancelled game, and they got him again out at the stadium that piss-beer built. clement looks like he'll have a bunch of solid to good starts this season, but he's hardly untouchable on his bad days. maybe the cards have his #? either way, hindsight is always 20/20 and it hopes that you didn't start him. in fact, i'd be hesistant to start him against a good offense or two until he gets back on track, either by mastering a good offense or crusing through the pirates or something.
