Help with my team - Advice Needed

Postby anton4475 » Wed Apr 20, 2005 11:44 am

Here is my current team...I'm getting killed in average, runs scored, and steals. My pitching is solid though so far.
Anyone have any suggestions? Should I address any needs or wait on some of these guys to pick it up.
Your thoughts are appreciated.

Area 1: Speed--I think this will improve for you a bit, but not much. Probably the area with the most room to improve. That being said, it is hard to do.
Area 2: AVG--this will get better. Giles, Leiberthal, Lee and Beltran will all hit better from here on out, so you can relax here.
Area 3: Runs--Giles, the Cabreras, Wells, and Beltran will pick it up. You have good power, so that helps because often they can drive themselves in, so overall team lineups aren't too important.

Overall be patient, but you may look to add some speed.

Just wait it out and let your guys pick it up. Speed is a question mark for you, but I think you should just go with what you have and try to finish above the middle of the pack. Over the course of a season your team should compete fairly well.

Can you take a look at my team?http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=116619
