Yes, the yanks look horrible right now. The slow start is annoying. But, they'll turn it around. Just hopefully not against one my pitchers.

$200 Million and this is how they play ? Asks good old "Darth Steinbrenner"
Well it couldnt happen to a nicer person. Perhaps if the Yankees flop this year, that "Bully" - "Darth Steinbrenner" will get the point .. money doesnt always championships and collecting "I" - type players just dosen't cut it. DOWN WITH THE EVIL EMPIRE!

So far this year the highly vaulted Yankee lineup has been shut down twice by Bruce Chen (one of which was a complete game shutout with only 102 pitches thrown), twice by Tim Wakefield and now tonight by Hideo (86 mph fastball...10+ ERA) Nomo.

No, nothing to worry about. Why even be concerned?

wait how many games have been played again?

14.

and how many are there in a season???

I understand that the yankees definetly have some problems right now, but id say you are overreacting.

Id be very surprised if bruce chen were to get another complete game shutout vs the yankees or that nomo will beat randy johnson for the 2nd time.

Now if only the Red Sox would have a losing record too. Then all would be right in the baseball world!

Look, I know you guys aren't used to losing, but there's no way they don't turn this around if everyone's healthy. The question is, can they turn it around ENOUGH. They should comfortably make the playoffs. The only really worrying thing about the results so far is that the teams you've dropped games to are all division rivals.

What would concern me if i were you is that you have huge question marks over two of your starters, one of injury and the other of just plain sucking, plus your bullpen isn't looking too hot (tbf ours looks little better right now,) and you're very short of trading chips.

Even if, say, Brown gets healthy or Wright rediscovers his Atlanta form, and you manage to trade for another good bullpen arm and a starter to cover/replace the other, you'll still be in the position where a single injury to either Pavano, Johnson or one of the top two-thirds of your lineup happens, you're screwed.

Three weeks is three weeks. I guess we shouldn't vent about the playoffs then...that only takes about three weeks.

...never thought I'd defend a Yankees fan...

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. You want to compare team performance in the first 3 weeks of April to the 3 in October/November?
