Where would this team be without Yadi's late-inning heroics (read: first-base pick offs)???

I'm going to help out the rest of the NL. If it is late in the game and your run doesn't mean anything stay on the base. Don't take a secondary lead, don't take your foot off the base until the ball is hit. Otherwise you're liable to get Munsoned out there.

Thanks for the help. Thought I'd come in here and give it a slight bump for ya.

Yadi is an excellent defensive catcher. I don't know if power will come to him, but I think he can be a "Lo Duca-esque" hitter.

Thanks for the bump.
I think he might be able to get around 20 HR a season one year but I wouldn't expect much more. Yadi's bat has been frustrating this year. I went though some real big ups and downs at the plate last year and I was hoping for some improvement seeing as he is still pretty young. But it has been the same thing this year with the streaks plus his overall numbers are worse than last year.

That said his defense has still been excellent. I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't take home the GG in the NL this year.

This deserves a bump for that throw to get Roberts last night.
Simply awesome.

Like I said in the game thread, it was nice for Yadi to get a chance to show the whole world that he has the best arm in the business. Roberts had an 89.1% SB success rate this year going 49-for-55.

And did you see the smile on Yadi's face when they called him out? Priceless!

Yeah I could stop laughing. It was like he was trying not to smile but it snuck out anyway.

Reyes, Beltran were you paying attention? I hope not. :-D

My buddy told me, "The Cardinals are going to win, and Yadier will be the hero."

I can't believe he called it.

Endy might have snagged Rolen's HR ball, but there was no way
he was going to reach over and grab Yadi's. Woooooo!
