I've been defending this guy to my entire family and work the past 2 weeks. He had his first multiple hit game last night. Don't pay any attention ball being dropped.

i have always been a believer in yadi. how about a so taguchi fan club? i cant tell you how many times i have said 'he's not that bad.'
nice to see mulder throw well, even if it was just the pirates. also nice to see jim journell. he has a live arm but still looked pretty wild. stadium gun said 97 on one of the pitches.
while i'm not ready to join the taguchi fan club anytime soon (what a waste of money the past couple years ) I was happy to see that Yadi would get the full-time gig this year. he's gonna take his bumps and bruises this year, but he deserves to be up here
2 for 5 with a R and RBI last night. He still looks uncomfortable at the plate sometimes but he is coming around.

Taguchi is a nice guy to have come off the bench. Great defense and nice speed. Besides its not like he costs that much. $1.2 million in 2003 and 2004 each. 500K this year.
I'm in! I have proof that I believed in him before last night. I drafted him as my backup in two of my three leagues. He will be my mid-week substitution in one league this week since he seems to be coming around finally.
If we keep this up, we're going to end up like those Mets fans going to games and holding up signs that say: "I Believe".

Yeah, but we actually have some recent proof that the belief isn't in vain.
Just to let you know, I'm not letting this die. Yadier has looked a lot better hitting lately. He has thrown out 7 of 9 base runners and had a nice pickoff the other night.
The Yadier Molina fan club will be in full effect at tonight and Saturday's games. OK maybe not in full effect Saturday cause it is a bachelor party.
