yahoo standard 5x5 H2H 12 team league. i've had to swing some deals, and i'm wondering how i have done with them... my original team is in paranthesis and my team now is regular... also, what could i do to improve my team more? thanks
Well, your OF needs some work, but overall the team is solid. I really like your pitching staff, both starters and RP. I think you'll struggle in the power categories though, with only A-Rod and Teixera (and maybe V-Mart again) as big boppers. Maybe see if you can spin Benitez or a mid-level starter into a decent power bat in the OF
Don't forget Rolen, he's a pretty big bat You sure sacrificed Johnson and Prior for some big bat, so I predict that your season will depend on your SP largely. Harden and Bonderman are talked up a lot about this being a breakout season or a continuation of one, and you did get Halladay, but still not a totally proven staff. Your closers rock and offense is great in my opinion, just keep an eye on your staff.
u swung sum good moves improving ur infeild ur out field is not bad but u gave away sum pitchers. if the bats can provide the power for u then u have a small concern in pitching but besides that ur team is Solid nice work

i gave m. prior/ d. roberts i got r. halladay/ m. hampton/ j. morneau
i gave m. cabrera/ m. mora/ b. wilkerson/ b. lyon i got s. rolen/ m. teixeira/ a. eaton/ a. leiter
i gave r. johnson i got a. rodriguez/ j. mauer
I don't really like the first trade because Prior is much better than Halladay, Hampton shouldn't be on any team, and Roberts and Morneau are a tossup. The second trade isn't very good either. Rolen isn't as valuable as Cabrera because you are using them as UTIL, Tex is better than Mora, but Wilk is nasty and Lyon is a solid closer. Again, I don't think that Eaton or Leiter should be on any staff (permanently). I really like the 3rd trade though. A-Rod is a stud.
