He was looking good until he got dumped to the 9th spot for Jeff friggin Davanon. I took Figgins in 2 leagues, and Roberts in 2 others. Boy I wish I had taken Roberts in all 4.

The real problem is his slump not where he is hitting in the order.
I think 9th in the AL not terrible for a potent linneup. You can be productive there. Figgins hit ninth a lot last year as did Soriano in 2002 in NY for instance.

2-3. R. 2 SB tonight. Any time you start to be worried about a player 2 weeks into the season just stop yourself. Yes it sucks he's batting 9th, that is a reason to be down on him, his stats are not.

Agreed except the last part. His stats are down a bit, but that's just because of where he's hitting. Another 2 weeks and he'll be back in the run-scoring stolen base machine versatile form we all know
