He was looking good until he got dumped to the 9th spot for Jeff friggin Davanon. I took Figgins in 2 leagues, and Roberts in 2 others. Boy I wish I had taken Roberts in all 4.

I'm also in the 'hmmm, do I dump him?' category w/ Figgins. It could just be a cool spot but he's been pretty chilly so far. It is hard to overlook the pluggability though, all those positions. Hard to get SB if you're not on base though... :~(

The real problem is his slump not where he is hitting in the order.

I think 9th in the AL not terrible for a potent linneup. You can be productive there. Figgins hit ninth a lot last year as did Soriano in 2002 in NY for instance.

2-3. R. 2 SB tonight. Any time you start to be worried about a player 2 weeks into the season just stop yourself. Yes it sucks he's batting 9th, that is a reason to be down on him, his stats are not.

Agreed except the last part. His stats are down a bit, but that's just because of where he's hitting. Another 2 weeks and he'll be back in the run-scoring stolen base machine versatile form we all know
