I drafted Barrett and Brandon Inge with the intention of making Barrett my starting cather and starting Inge when Barrett has a day off. However with Inge's hot start, while playing 3B, I've started Inge the entire season at catcher. What should I do with Barrett? Since Inge is the starting 3B for the Tigers, he'll probably play 150+ games. I don't see the advantage of carrying two "catchers". Barrett has little trade value right now. Should I wait until he hits and try to trade him? Or should I keep him and platoon him with Inge?

I'm not sure right now. I have Takatsu and he's been terrible. There aren't any any really good FA closer options right now, though. I thought I'd wait until Affeldt somes of the DL.
I have K-Rod, Lidge, Takatsu, and Hawkins as my closers.
The top RP according to Yahoo! based on saves
Brazoban
Hermanson
Tsao
Bruney
Schmoll
MacDougal
These are the only RP that have saves so far. Not exactly the pick of the litter...
That being said, I am in the same boat with Inge and Barett. I am not as limited roster-wise, so I am keeping both. When he is starting, especially at Wrigley which is HR friendly, I am still going with Barrett.

Are you "concerned" at all about Inge? Until 2004 he was a hitless wonder. He is batting leadoff a lot, though, so he will score a bunch of runs...
Basically that is why I am keeping Barrett. I am fairly confident that Inge can maintain an acceptable average but there is clearly a risk. But if I was forced to choose between the 2 I would still take Inge due to the increased run production from playing every day and potential for 5-10 SBs.
Another aggravating thing with Barrett is the fact that Maddux no longer has a personal catcher, so his days off are far less predictable.

Since Barrett is the starting catcher I would think that Sundays and Thursdays, or a day game after a night game would be his days off.
