Asked a question in another Forum about possibly dumping Glavine to pick up Wade Miller.... beyond that, wondering what other folks are thinking about Glavine this year.
Is he a 3rd or 4th quality starter, or someone you pick up from the wire based on match-ups?

I view him as a pitcher that won't hurt you, too much.

Tom Glavine hasnt been a constant start since he left Atlanta. I wouldnt even own him this year. He is pitching utterly pathetic. Any pitcher that doesnt have at least a 2 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio shouldnt be owned and Glavine doesnt even have more strikeouts than walks so far this year (10 BB 9K). His skills have been on a rapid decline and he is no longer in Atlanta where there are several factors that make average pitchers defy saber metrics and appear to be good. Drop him now before your ever tempted to start him again.
