this is a 12 team head-to-head keeper league with very knowledgeable owners. it is 7x7 with the additional categories being bb, ops and l, k/bb. i have done a lot of work on pitching since the draft since i mainly focused on picking offense. barajas is a new add because i had marerro and i traded nomar for giambi straight up. i normally start every pitcher by rotating the sp position and leave al 4 relievers in at all times.

C Barajas, Rod (C-Ari)
1B Giambi, Jason (1B, DH-NYY)
2B Vidro, Jose (2B-Mon)
3B Chavez, Eric (3B-Oak)
SS Rodriguez, Alex (SS-Tex)
OF Burrell, Pat (LF-Phi)
OF Wells, Vernon (CF-Tor)
OF Kearns, Austin (RF-Cin)
Util Wilson, Preston (CF-Col)
Bench Johnson, Nick (1B, DH-NYY)
Bench Blalock, Hank (3B-Tex)
Bench Phelps, Josh (DH-Tor)
Bench Gibbons, Jay (RF, 1B-Bal)

SP Halladay, Roy (SP-Tor)
SP Schmidt, Jason (SP-SF)
SP Hernandez, Runelvys (SP-KC)
RP Foulke, Keith (RP-Oak)
RP MacDougal, Mike (RP-KC)
P Carter, Lance (RP-TB)
P Carrasco, D.J. (RP-KC)
Bench Pineiro, Joel (SP, RP-Sea)
Bench Penny, Brad (SP-Fla)
Bench Clement, Matt (SP-ChC)

what place are you in your league?

How are you doing in steals?

It looks like steals might be the weakest postion.

to bad Phelps isn't catching any more for the Blue Jays.

its head to head and i am 7 wins (categories) out of 1st, which is good since one blowout victory can gain those back. steals have been a problem but i win almost all other offensive categories each week (lost runs a few times).

Hank Balock's numbers won't be that high all season I would try and trade him for some speed up to upgrade one of your other postions since you already have a good 3rd baseman

Nick Johnson's numbers should go down with him moving to 7th in the batting order. he is a good backup, but since you have Giambi already he won't be able to find in for when the Yankees have up. So I would consider trading for or getting a 1st base backup from another team. Jeff Conine isn't a bad option and he probably is available in a lot of leagues. 25 hr, 100rbi guy.
