Adam Kennedy (knee) could be ready to begin a minor league rehab assignment later this week.
Kennedy has been making progress playing in extended spring training. His current timetable has him returning to the Angels May 1.

This is not good news for Figgins owners. If Figgins doesn't show some improvement in the next couple of weeks he could see a lot less AB when Kennedy comes back.

Adam Kennedy (knee) went 1-for-5 yesterday in the first game of his minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Salt Lake.
Kennedy's rehab assignment is expected to last for at least a week, which would put him on schedule for an early May return if he suffers no setbacks. Apr. 25 - 8:27 am et
