Veto this Trade?

Would you veto this trade if you were me?

Team 1 Gives:
Chavez (eric)
Glavine
Alou

Team 2 Gives:
Mora
Clemens

Team 1 is an experienced player, team 2 is a rookie.

Im not sure if I should intervene as the Commish.

Not at all vetoable. Alou should be a solid player once he's activated Friday, and Chavez is a potential stud. Not everyone is a Mora believer, so perhaps team 2 just wanted to cut bait on him and go with Chavez. I'd rather have the Clemens/Mora side I think, but it's not all that bad.

I like the Mora/Clemens side too. I think almost every experienced player would. I'm not very high on Alou or Glavine.

It's not an automatic veto though. So let it slide but if the same two teams make another trade, be prepared to lay down the hammer.

No. I can make a nice argument why I'd want either side of the deal and normally when I can do that, it's not that bad of a trade.

I agree. That's not really close to vetoable IMO. Maybe you're just trying to hard to protect the newbie?
