Young and Vernon

In a 24 team 40 man roster league I was offered M Young to give up Vernon. I have Izturis at SS and Beltran at CF (baldelli on DL too). So I am currently playing Vernon at DH.

Anyone think I should jump on this?
It's a keeper so I am not sure how good of an option Mike is?
Does his contract run a few more years in Texas?

I would do the trade, Young is only getting better in Texas. His K totals are decreasing and walk totals increasing. He's becoming an incredible hitter.

I would do it...Young will be in Texas for about the next 4 years, I wouldn't be surprised if he plays there his entire career. Young will get you at least 200 hits and the added points for doubles and triples definitely make him worth it.

On a side note, the FA list on a 24 team league must be atrocious, so you're lucky someones giving you a great shortstop for an outfielder, especially when ignoring position, Young is better.
