Apr 17 Updating a continuing story, Danny Knobler, of Mlive.com, reports Detroit Tigers OF Magglio Ordonez (hernia) is due to visit with specialists in Montreal Monday, April 18, and in Philadelphia Tuesday, April 19, to further discuss his hernia. Ordonez is expected to undergo surgery in the near future that would sideline him for a minimum of four-to-six weeks. However, Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski said the timeline could turn out to be months rather than weeks. The worst-case scenario would be that Ordonez would miss the entire season.
was this type of injury stuff worked into his contract as well?
I believe much of the contract was voidable if he was unable to play 120 games this year.

Made a trade offer for him right before the season started, after seeing him in spring training. I'm glad his owner thinks I'm an ass and didn't accept the trade due to spite.
Own him in another league. I may be screwed there b/c there is no depth on the WW in this 16 team league.
