A line drive is a line drive in every park. That's right. but @ Coors a line drive is more than just a line drive. The ball moves a lot different at Coors than it does for example @ Shea or Turner Field or wherever! Playing in Colorado is allways a bonus for the hitters. Maybe the Mets should trade Alomar to the Rockies. He might actually put up some decent numbers then. But til then....forget that he's even playing!

Look the guy wasn't his normal self last year but he was not that BAD. Less than a year and a half ago he was the TOP 2nd basemen in the Fantasy game and now he is trash? I never thought I would say this but I am rooting for Alomar now that all of the fantasy world is so certain he's finished.

He WAS one of the best second basemen. But now he's getting old. He has the ability to play...nobody doubts that. He just hasn't shown it to anybody in over a year in a half. So logically people don't believe in him anymore. Neither do I. Sorry. There are so many second basemen that are playing better than he. Just take Marcus Giles as an example. He's a lot younger than Alomar and is playing a lot better....

I agree in your assesment of Marcus Giles and that's why I traded for him last week. However, Alomar owners should not be so quick to give up on him just yet.
