He didnt say which one but neither of them have been rejected. So im guessing he is gonna choose whoever is doing hotter.

if I were him I would do the Foulke deal, but not the izzy one. Likewise, if I were you, I would rather give up izzy than foulke...my guess is that if you leave both offers on the table, he'll accept the foulke one.

one other thing about your team: you have a TON of starters and only 3 (soon to be 2) closers. I would really like to see you make a free agency pickup or trade for a mid/low-level closer or two. are there any free agents that you may have missed because they arent ranked high but could get some saves (hermanson, macdougal etc)?

Hm..Hermanson is around im watching shingo very carefully waiting for my chance to jump. Marte as well and to a lesser extent Otsuka, Hoffman u never know when an old man like that can fall off. Im also watching the Pirates situation at closer very carefully as well as the A's. Otherwise im a little thin. Making a safe assumption gagne returns healthy i think with 2 good closers and maybe a decent pick up in the year will put me if not at top near the top in saves.

You both have pretty powerful offenses, both need a few steals, but it's hard to call that. I think I'd lean towards your offense. I like his staff better. Beckett, Burnett, Mulder, Weaver, Hern...he's got quite a bit of depth, but I'm not sold on Batista, Graves, and Mota as his closers. Largely risky and unproven.
